November 2023 ColorScope – GOLD

As nine completes the cycle of process, so, too, our ninth color symbolizes a degree of perfection. We need to be mindful, however, that every completion is also a beginning.

Gold represents the completion of the journey from the raw base level of instinct and desire to the gold of the realization of your divine spark within.  Gold natives glow with hope, laughter and happiness. They blend a driving energy with the wisdom of the ages, just as the energies of Orange combine and balance physical force (Red) and mental intellect (Yellow). Gold is the sage, the wise counsellor.

As nine completes the cycle of process, so, too, our ninth color symbolizes a degree of perfection.  Yet let us not forget that while one cycle is completed, an ending always signifies a new beginning.

Similar to the process described by alchemists, Gold represents the completion of man’s process of transmutation from the base metal of instinct and desire to the gold of the realization of the divine spark within. Hope, laughter and happiness emanate from you.  You blend a driving energy with the wisdom of the ages, just as the energies of Orange combine and balance physical force (Red) and mental intellect (Yellow).  You serve to communicate cosmic love and truth to others.  You are the sage, the wise counsellor.  You have experienced all in life and now are called upon to translate its knowledge.  You have a strong influence upon the world as you radiate vitality and warmth to nourish the souls and spirits of your brothers.  Your sympathy, understanding and deep feeling for your fellow man win you respect and admiration.

Although you may yearn for the respite of personal love, deep within yourself is the recognition that your purpose is an impersonal mission of comforting and soothing others.  You are the world traveler who roams the four corners of the world to communicate your message of love, perfection, and wisdom.  Inspired, you can be a great artist for the depth of emotion is unfathomable.  On a positive arc, you transform your base qualities, your passions and instinctual nature into universal understanding and selfless service.  Recognizing that life cannot be truly beautiful until all share in its beauty, you interpret this beauty to others by casting rays of sunshine across the hearts of others.  Love radiates from you.  While Rose may build concrete realities and structures out of the dreams and visions of others, it is you who expresses the soul beauty in your words, thoughts and communications.  You are a master teacher.  For as a teacher, you are not pedantic, as Violet may tend to be, but enliven all expression with your profound feeling of life, of warmth, of heart.  Behind your expressions are spiritual force and magnetic appeal.

You are popular and well liked, for your joy of living wins the admiration of all who enter your presence.  While some may envy you, you are above petty desires.  Eventually you win converts to a joy of living.  You do not enforce your message on others, but merely seek to share your thoughts with others with no threat of domination.  You live your life with grace, cheer, and spirituality.  The intensity of your life comforts others.  Where you find difficulty is in living up to your own sense of perfection.  If you feel your ideals cannot be realized either by yourself or others, you tend to become easily discouraged.

Living too fully in the world of the abstract, you can detach itself from the realities others live. When disappointed by the frustrations in life, you may tend to dissipate your forces. Your emotions become overly sensitized and your moods fluctuate between despair and delight.  When your efforts of gold are not directed toward comforting and helping others, there can be a strong degree of self-indulgence.  You then become lost in day-dreams.  You may then seek the easy way out, enjoying the pomp and circumstance of life yet offering nothing in return.  On a negative arc, you manifest an incredible selfishness and a possessiveness of everything and everybody around you.

If self-gratification becomes your purpose, then misery will be your destiny.  For an emphasis on taking rather than giving leads to a constant longing for satisfaction, a restless seeking for the missing factor to your completion.  Fearful and indecisive, you gravitate toward the dark side of life.

It’s been a long road to this place, but as the influences of the previous months fade and the new Gold ray energy takes dominance, we will see the fruits of that hard labor begin to flourish.

There will be answers to a lot of the questions generated in September. It’s time to let go of attachments to what has been learned, and opinions. It’s time to share knowledge and wisdom without holding on to being right or wrong.
